The Real Mob- GUIDE

TRM GAME GUIDE

1. TURNS

Turns are the currency of the game, without turns you are extremely limited to your game play on TRM. Turns are given at a required amount over a 10 minute period, you may use these turns to hire, attack, collect, produce, bank and lots more, the different types of turns are explained below:

a) Accumulated/Active Turns - These are the free turns which a player receives every 10 minutes on hand, by default a player will receive 25 turns every 10 minutes which build up to a maximum of 2,500 turns, once it reaches 2,500 the active turns will stop accumulating until some or all of the maxed turns are used.

b) Reserve Turns - Unlike accumulated turns, reserve turns cannot be maxed and can be saved for your disposal to use at any time during that particular round, as a free player you will receive a default amount of reserve turns depending on the round setting at the beginning of every round. These turns do not carry over to the next round and must be used within that round.

c) Credits - Every player has their own credit account which they manage themselves, credits are a collection of turns which can be used at any time during any round. The unique thing about credits is that they do not expire and always carry over to the next round and they do not get maxed so you can collect as many credits as you wish. Every player will begin with 2,000 credits

Credits can be increased by making a donation to the game as an incentive we will give you credits depending on how much money is donated; they can also be achieved by ranking in a previous round dependant on where the player placed. You can view your credit account HERE.

d) Prizes - As described above at the end of each round we will hand out credits to players who rank, there are several ranking opportunities either in tiers one to four, killer, family or subscription depending on where you place turns will be credited to your account as a reward.

e) Referral - For each player that you refer to TRM you will earn yourself an additional 2,000 turns which will be credited to your account. You can find your referral link HERE.

f) Subscriptions - Subscriptions are turn bonuses, there are 4 types of subscriptions which can be purchased, it will boost the amount of active turns you receive every 10 minutes as explained below:

Ultra Sub ? 125 turns per 10 mins, max hold = 12,500
Gold Sub ? 65 turns per 10 mins, max hold = 6,500
Silver Sub ? 45 turns per 10 mins, max hold = 4,500
Bronze Sub ? 35 turns per 10 mins, max hold = 3,500

For every player who purchases a subscription we will issue them with upto 30,000 bonus reserve turns at the beginning of the new round. You can purchase a subscription HERE.

g) Voting - We urge every player to vote for TRM to put it amongst the top ranking mobster/mafia RPG games, so we have added an incentive where if a player votes for TRM on a voting site we will give them 250 active turns for every site you vote on.

2. ACCOUNT STATUS

a) Free players ? When you signup to the game for the first time your account status is set to ?free player? by default, this means you are a mobster who has not donated to the game and you will receive the standard turn rates and reserves.

b) Supporter Players ? When a mobster donates money towards the game whether it be credits or a subscription their account status will automatically be set to supporter. Supporters will gain extra benefits such as winning the jackpot and/ bonus turns and many more benefits.

3. ROUNDS

Instead of having a constant rolling game we have split the game into rounds, the reason we do this is because it gives new players an opportunity to have a chance at winning extra prizes in the game. Each round lasts 10 days and the countdown clock can be located on the top of the page just under the main banner. When a round finishes the resources, defence units and operatives etc will not be carried over into the new round. Everything will begin from scratch giving new players opportunities to try and rank

4. HIRING

One of the basics of organised crime is to be able to do things your own way and not end up in jail. Partly this can be accomplished by not doing any crimes yourself, instead paying others to do so. In order to maintain your empire under control, you'll need different types of personnel to perform all the different tasks and duties. In order to get some staff in your crew you could scout for them. To scout for crew members, just use your turns and look in the place where you would find the kind of guys you need.

Units are split into two groups Defence units (du) and operatives (op), defence units help to protect you and your family and to attack your enemies, operatives are used to help increase your networth either by collecting cash or producing narcotics below is a guideline of each units characteristics and where they can be hired:

CASINO:

a) Whores (op) ? Work in your brothel and will determine how much cash people will pay for them
b) Card dealers (op) - work in your casinos and will determine how much cash your tables will roll out.

CAFFE NAPOLI:

a) Hitmen (du) - strengths are their intelligence at the time of performing an order and their good weapons skills. They would kill and protect you.
b) Hustlers (op) - work with your loan shark and will help to push people to collect loan payments.

GHETTO:

a) Bootleggers (op) - work in your speakeasy and will determine how much liquor your speakeasy will make.
b) Punks (op) - work in your gambling den and will help to push people to bet

GYM:

a) Thugs (du) - are not as intelligent and well mannered as gangsters. They will also be used for attacks and to protect you.
b) Bodyguards (du) - are really easy to get and will protect you well. They are not that good for attacks though.

5. HAPPINESS

Now that you have hired your specified units you will now need to keep them happy, happiness is vital to a unit?s performance, if you do not keep your units they will start to leave you as soon as you make them operate.

Ops ? Require alcohol and coke to maintain their happiness, they would also require the protection of defence units too so they feel protected whilst at work

Dus ? Require alcohol and weed to maintain their happiness, they would also require guns to protect themselves, operatives and your assets.

You can keep track of your units happiness in the status bar located at the bottom of most your pages, try and keep the happiness bar at 100% to get the most out of them.

6. BLACKMARKET

The black market is where all mobsters can purchase assets to keep your units happy as explained above, you can purchase and sell narcotics, weapons, planes and cars. Below is a guideline of each product sold in the blackmarket:

NARCOTICS:

? Alcohol ($5) ? Used to keep both ops and dus happy
? Weed ($10) ? mainly used to keep dus happy
? Coke ($20) ? mainly used to keep ops happy

WEAPONS:

? Glock ($500) ? The weakest of all weapons
? Shotgun ($1,000) ? Fires fewer bullets therefore not killing as many as Uzi or Ak-47?s
? Uzi ($2,500) ? A powerful weapon used to kill many units, best to keep lower networths
? Ak-47 ($5,000) ? TRM?s most powerful and advanced weapon, kills the most units per attack and keeps du?s happiness high

VEHICLES:

? Cars ($2,500) ? Used to do drive byes on your enemies also needed to steal your enemy?s cars, only 5 units fit in one car at a time.
? Learjets ($5000) ? 50 units can travel in learjets, normally used by looters for quick free travel for fewer units.
? Planes ($25,000) ? 500 units can travel with planes, can be used by mobsters with large amounts of dus and ops.

7. NETWORTH

Networth is the term used to describe your total value of assets, these assets include defence units (dus), operatives (ops), guns, narcotics, planes, cars etc. Networth plays an important role in TRM, although networth will determine the ranks for a round with killer ranks as an exception it is vital to alter your networth during a round accordingly to prevent other families attacking by either keeping a very low or very high networth making it hard to get attacked.

A good strategy will need to be devised in regards to networth to survive the street of TRM, whether it will be protecting the cash in your bank or by having a human banker who protects people?s money. We will leave you to make your own strategies regarding networth and protecting yourself and your family(s)

8. PRODUCE

Productions are part of your illegal activities. So you could use turns to produce coke, weed, alcohol and counterfeit cash. By producing you increase your networth therefore making yourself a noticeable target from other mobsters if not quickly dispatched to the family/union banker. Below is a guideline on what each unit produces:

? Thugs ? Produce coke and weed in your drug labs
? Bootleggers ? Produce alcohol in your speakeasy
? Punks ? Produce counterfeit cash in your print labs

Happiness is an important factor when producing, make sure your units are 100% happy before producing otherwise they will start to leave you. The less happy they are the less they will produce.

9. COLLECT

Collecting is an alternative to producing, but this is all dependant on which operative units you have hired, they all produce cash from your extorted businesses which goes straight in your hand. You own casinos, brothels, loan sharks and gambling dens, below is a guide of each units characteristics:

? Card dealers ? used to run your casino tables
? Whores ? used to work in your brothels
? Hustlers ? used to collect loan payments from loan sharks
? Punks ? used to run your gambling dens

As in producing happiness also plays an important role when collecting, make sure your ops are 100% happy before collecting or they will start to leave you. The less happy they are the less they will collect.

10. BANK

The bank allows you to safeguard your money, it can be used to deposit, withdraw, receive and transfer money.

? Deposit ? You can deposit a maximum 15% of your cash on hand into your bank vault, to do this you must have 25 active turns on hand for the deposit to take effect. All you have to do is click the ?deposit max? button and it will automatically deposit 15% of cash on hand.

? Withdraw ? You don?t need any active turns to withdraw money from the vault, all you have to do is click the ?withdraw all? button and the money will update to your on hand cash.

? Transfer ? To transfer cash to another mobster you will require to have 25 active turns on hand, and the amount which you wish to transfer on hand. You then simply enter the amount of cash you want to send and the mobster?s ?exact? game name which you want to transfer to. If you want to send all the cash you have on hand simply click the ?cash on hand? button. The cash which you transfer will go the mobster?s on hand cash.

? Receive ? It doesn?t cost you any active turns to receive cash from another mobster and the cash which you receive will go straight to your on hand cash. When you have a pending transfer it will appear on your ?view? box to accept this money you must go to the bank and accept the pending transfer, the transfer will go through so long as the mobster sending has the matching value on hand.

The bank will also show you some of the following options which we have explained for you:

? Current Money ? This shows you how much money you have on hand
? Bank Balance ? This shows how much money you currently have in the bank vault
? Max Deposit ? This shows you if your bank vault is currently to its maximum limit
? Deposit Left ? This will show from cash on and if you can deposit any more cash than you currently have in your bank vault without having to withdraw and do it again, simply just click ?deposit max? and it will update.

Please note in the ?settings? button located on the ?view? box there is an option to toggle auto transfers on/off, if you wish to accept transfers automatically you can do so by activating auto transfers it is set to off by default.

11. FAMILY

TheRealMob is a simulation of the mafia underworld. Just like the real mafia, you can join families ? a group of people who believe in the same thing, have the same ideas or just trust each other. A family brings protection, it brings respect from other members and it gives you trust in other members. Trust and respect can save your life, but it can also get you killed.

It is advised to get yourself in a family as soon as you join to protect and help you learn the ropes of mobster life, you can view families by clicking on the family ranks or alternatively if a player is in a family it will show which family or union they belong to. Just like applying for a job in real life you must apply to join for a family so message a don, boss or consigliere.

Once you have got an invite to the family this will appear in the ?view? box next to ?invites? click on this and accept the invitation shown on the family page, once clicked you will officially be a member of that family/union.

As with any mobster families they all have a hierarchy of command which their members follow, to work your way to the top you must stay loyal to your family and earn the promotions set by your bosses by completing tasks for them, below is a guide of what each role/job you may be given in your family:

? Don - the head of the organized crime family/union
? Boss ? a boss is appointed by the don to run a family for him/her
? Consigliere ? A consigliere is chosen by a boss as an advisor to him/her
? Diplomat ? Appointed ambassador to represent the family with other families
? Bruglione - executive baron in charge of certain territories
? Enforcer ? appointed war general to attack and defend family interest.
? Caporegime ? usually known as captain of a group of people from a family
? Sgarrista - a foot soldier who carries out day to day business of the family
? Piciotto ? Lower-ranking soldier(s)

Every family also has a family board, business board, diplomatic page and family options, family boards are usually used to talk smack with your fellow members of your family, the business board is usually used for important instructions by the head members of the family. A diplomatic?s page is used for the diplomat to arrange relations with other families here requests for alliances & naps can be accepted and rejected. And finally the family options, these can only be viewed by the head members of the family, it is used to promote other members set family messages, icon, media, invite and remove other mobsters too.

You can leave a family whenever you may wish by simply clicking family options and clicking to leave the family, this cannot be undone so make sure you are 100% sure you want to leave.

12. ATTACKING

Attacking is the main focus point of the game. Most of the entertainment you will receive is from this option. Providing all necessary requirements are met, you will have the following attacking options:

? Drive-by (3 Turns) ? To do drive-bys you need at least 1 car, this will do drive-bys on the enemies headquarters and will only kill their dus, you cannot loot money, guns, drugs etc its sole purpose is to kill dus

? HQ hit (4 Turns) ? This is similar to a drive-by but instead of rolling in cars you run into their headquarters, this attack also only kills the enemies dus but also allows you to steal any cash on hand or guns they might have, you can only steal these if you win the attack. However if you lose the attack you risk losing your own guns and money on hand

? Armoury (4 Turns) ? An armoury hit enables a player to steal the enemies guns, if this attack is chosen whilst the enemy still has dus it will be more of an advantage to you as you will kill their dus aswell as steal extra guns leaving some of the enemy dus unarmed therefore weaker for secondary attacks.

? Drugs Lab (4 Turns) ? This will allow you to attack the enemies drug labs, if the enemy still has dus protecting the drugs lab they will try and prevent you from stealing them, if you win the hit you will be able to steal the drugs.

? Business (4 Turns) ? The focus of this attack is to mainly kill your opponents operatives, as with all attacks if the enemy has dus protecting the ops you will need to win the attack to eliminate their operatives

? Cars (3 Turns) ? When you get this attack option it means the opponent has one or more cars, to be able to steal the cars you will a) need to have at least 1 car to be able to steal any and b) your opponent must have 0 dus so they are not protected.

? Planes (3 Turns) ? As with cars the same rules apply to planes, when you get this attack option I means the opponent has one or more planes, to be able to steal the planes you must a) have at least 1 learjet or plane and b) your opponent must have 0 dus to be able to steal planes.

As shown above each attack costs a certain amount of turns, If you run out of turns whilst attacking your opponent, than you will be re-directed to a new screen saying you are not allowed to attack. You will either have to add more turns or wait for new turns.

To attack players there are a few options, firstly you can click on the ?attack? button, this will show you all the mobsters in your range, this will also allow to view other mobsters in range in other cities simply by selecting a city from the drop down menu. Alternatively you can browse through the city ranks or global ranks and find players in range to attack but this way is not recommended if you are a new player.

To attack a player you must click on their name until you see their profile then you can select the attack button which will open the different attacking options described above. If a mobsters profile says ?out of range? this means you cannot attack them until you either raise or lower your networth depending on theirs.

The attack ranges are simply one third up and half down, this means you can attack a higher mobster who has 3 times your networth or you can attack a lower mobster who has half of your networth.

13. PROTECTION/MAXING

Protection ? A mobster can protect themselves by either hiring, producing or collecting, depending on the number of turns used they will get as much protection. For each turn a mobster uses counts as 1 second the maximum protection a mobster can gain by hiring, producing or collecting is 60 seconds, anything above 60 turns will still count as 60 second protection.

What does this protection do? Well if a mobster is attacking you, this gives you an option to protect yourself and sell and transfer your assets to another well protected mobster or family banker. The main purpose of protection is to allow mobsters enough time to hire, produce and or collect while they are un-armed so they cannot get killed whilst vulnerable, but many mobsters have adapted to also use this to protect themselves from attacks.

Maxing ? Every mobster has a maximum of 25 hits open to them given they do not have a revenge hit open on them. If a mobster is hit 25 times and they lose the attack they will be known as ?maxed? and may not be hit again until the next toh (top of hour), for every toh that passes they will be open for one hit per toh thereafter until they reach a maximum of 25 open hits again. Maxing has been adapted as a tool for protecting physical bankers in the game, mobsters tend to keep the banker maxed around the clock meaning they cannot be hit hence protects the assets they have sent upto them by other mobsters.

14. REVENGE

If you hit a mobster you will leave them with a 24 hour open revenge link on yourself, here the other mobster has the opportunity to have unlimited attacks on you until the 24 hour period has expired. This also works the other way; if a mobster hits you, you will have a revenge link on them for 24 hours.

The advantage of a revenge is that it will override maxed players or protected players, if a member is maxed you still have the chance to hit them as many times as you want within the 24 hour revenge period, the same applies for protected players hiring, producing or collecting to protect themselves, this will not help protect them and you have the opportunity to capitalise.

Revenge link also overrides a player?s networth, if you have a revenge link on a player who is out of range you can still use it to attack them back.

The danger of using a revenge is that it will also provide the mobster you hit with a revenge link on you as explained above. Revenge links can be found in your mailbox under ?revenges?.

15. TRAVEL

Travelling is used for different purposes: running away from someone that is trying to kill you, moving to kill someone in another city, or travelling from and to your hometown where your family is located. Being in your own city has pros and cons. A pro is that you're family offers you more protection in your hometown, a con is that it?s more likely for your enemies to find you!

If you do not have planes or learjets it will cost each du $150 and each op $99 to travel to another city, if enough planes are purchased to cover all dus and ops a mobster can travel for free to any city as many times as they wish.

16. ALLIES/NAPS/ENEMIES

It is imperative to have good relationships with other families or unions to avoid any attacks on your members, but sometimes it might be worthwhile to eliminate your competition to advance your status and earn respect in the game, these are very important aspects of the game play here on TRM which should be considered.

Every family has an option to request and receive an alliance or a non aggression pact (NAP) from another family which can be accepted or rejected by the receiving family, all families also have the option to declare enemies too with a warring family. These terms are explained in more detail below:

ALLIES - An alliance is an agreement between two or more parties, made in order to advance common goals and to secure common interests. The alliance is a collaboration which aims for a synergy where each family/union hopes that the benefits from the alliance will be greater than those from individual efforts.

NAPS - A NAP is an agreement between two or more families to avoid war or armed conflict between them and resolve their disputes through peaceful negotiations. Sometimes such a pact may include a pledge of avoiding armed conflict even if participants find themselves fighting third families, including allies of one of the participants.

ENEMIES ? An enemy(s) is a non agreement between two or more families which often leads to armed conflict and war between them.

Each family can appoint a diplomat as their ambassador to deal with relationships with other families/unions. A diplomat has access to the diplomatic page where he/she can view and either accept or reject allies and NAP requests from other families. Once an agreement has been accepted and a member of one of the parties decides to attack a NAP/ally a warning message will appear to remind them of the agreements between the families.

If you receive one of the above a link will appear on your navigation tool leading you straight to the page to make life a little easier for you.

19. ALERTS

Alerts are important messages or announcements from the staff for all mobsters/players to read, it may involve alerts like special offers to news, updates to birthday shout outs. So please try and read all alerts as they may concern you.

20. RANKING

Rankings are determined with a mobster?s networth arranged in ascending order in their respective tiers. Rankings are arranged in tiers/levels simply to allow more people to rank globally, below is how all the separate rankings are grouped and the requirements to qualify for it:

? Level 1 - 0 turns added
? Level 2 ? 1 ? 39,999 turns added
? Level 3 ? 40,000 ? 99,999 turns added
? Level 4 ? 100,000+ turns added
? Free killer ? must be a free player
? Supporter killer ? must be a supporter
? Family ? Must be a member of a ranking family to qualify
? Subscription ? Active subscription, 0 turns added (if you add 1 turns it will skip level 1 and put you in level 2 where the above requirements take effect)

21. MEDALS

Gold, silver and bronze medals are rewarded to the top 3 winners of each level (shown in ranking above). They will be rewarded at the end of each round once the staff finalise the previous rounds rankings.

They are usually shown on a mobster?s profile which can be toggled to either be shown or hidden from settings to protect your identity/reputation from other mobsters.

22. PAST RANKS

Past ranks are where you can go and looks at past rounds. You will be able to see who ranked in each level (for the top 10 spots), the top 10 families, and the top 3 killers in each category. You can look at each round going all the way back to round one.

23. WHO?S ONLINE

The who?s online button does just that, it shows you who is online at that moment. You can see who is online in your city, another city, or the entire game. This tool can also be used to set up attacks, find someone to talk to, or give you that moment to build and collect in peace.

24. MESSAGE BOARD

The message board is where everyone goes to have general chat with fellow mobsters in the game. It is a fairly anything goes board, but we do ask that you keep it clean ad follow the RULES, no personal attacks, and have fun with it.

25. RECRUIT BOARD

The recruit board is where you can post to recruit people to your family. And you can also find families looking for new members. Make sure to pop in and check the recruit board from time to time, because you just might find the next great Mobster waiting to be picked up.

26. MOB GODS

These are the admins of the game. They monitor your actions and make sure everyone is playing fair. It's best to stay on the Mob God's good side. If you have any problems, found a bug in the game, or found a game abuser, let them know by leaving a message under the MOB GODS link.

27. SURVEYS

Surveys or Polls are a market research tool for us and we may often put one up on the Main Page of the game. This is a way for us to get feedback from you (the players), or just to have some fun. We may put up a survey of a game idea to see if there is interest in adding that feature.

28. CONTACTS

Contacts are used for quick reference of mobsters so you don?t have to try to find them every time you want to send them a message or attack them. You can add other mobsters to your allies or enemies tab by clicking on the mobster?s profile. Once on their profile you can ?Add to bitches? which puts them on your enemies list, or you can ?Add to contacts? which puts them on your allies list. This way you can keep those you want to chat with frequently or those you want to attack separated. This is for your quick reference only, mobsters will not know if they are on your allies or enemies list.

29. FIND MOBSTER/FAMILY

This is the option you use when you know the name of a mobster or family and you want to find them in the game. If you click on mobster you can either search by typing in their name exactly as they have it or if you are not sure you can search by letters containing. Searching by containing searches by the consecutive letters as you put them in the box. The results may show several mobsters if they have the same combination of letters.

Searching for family is the same as for mobster. You can either type in the full family name and search that way, or by the containing option. If you know several families are using the same type name, you can search by containing using the letters and it will pull up all families
